
Living Heritage sponsor EVENT of the year 1000 guinea racing spectacular at Sandringham Game and Country Fair 2010 heralded a record turnout of competitors with 90 per cent of qualified dogs competing. The challenge was a 200 yard stretch – run in true competition style – head to head By the third round – the field had narrowed to the last 3 dogs Sadly Domino fell at the last but one hurdle Following a brief rest both dogs took to the slips to run for the title A Worthy winner – Max 
Congratulations go to Maria Hill form West Sussex - who took the title, trophy and the 1000 guineas prize purse. She generously handed over 40 per cent of her winnings to Vanessa as a gesture of sporting good will. A Brilliant day. Well done to all those who had qualified, all champions in their own right. China owned by mr John humphries took the trophy and a £200 prize purse for setting a new record of 4.96 seconds for the under 23" 100 yard dash. Vicki Grocock also took away a trophy and £50 in prize money for second place. with a time of 5.05 seconds.
 
Sisters Jade and Gem owned by Ian Braithwaite also both broke the record for the year in the Over 23” 100 yard dash with a recorded time of 4.9 and 4.92 seconds respectively. Congratulations go to Ian who received the trophy and a total prize money of £250.
