Our season for 2011 offers everyone the chance to take part and enjoy themselves in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Whether you are new to the Lurcher scene or a seasoned competitor our events offer a unique chance for all the family to become involved with a real chance of taking home a prize!

Our show schedule incorporates a wide range of classes, which offer something for everyone and for 2011 we have added in a Bullcross championship.  All our best in show winners qualify for our prestigious championship finals at the end of the year with some great prize money up for grabs.

Our Racing events are probably the best in the UK with outstanding prize money. For 2011 we have teamed up with  RED MILLS who specialise in winning formula greyhound food to offer a grand prize purse of 1000 guineas to be presented at our Championship Final. Are you up for the challenge? Not for the faint hearted though it’s tough. Top four dogs on each race day qualify. 

For those less ambitious or new to the sport our timed events offer a chance to chart progress throughout the season.  Can you “Beat the Clock?”  The four fastest times of the day will qualify for our final at the end of the year with combined total prize money of £500.

We also give those younger dogs a chance with our Lurcher Puppy racing for dogs under 12 months, why not give your pup a run in a safe controlled environment ideal for learning and having fun. 

Main Ring

New for 2011 is our grand National Steeple Chase to be held in the main ring, ideal for those feisty little terriers or any other dog on the showground who would like to have a go and our “Chase the Bunny” competition will continue in the afternoons.
