LurcherWorld is run by a small team of dedicated people whose primary aim is to promote the well being of the working dog, our aim is to demonstrate the working dog skills in the field and show how dogs and humans can work closely together.

By involving members of the public in our events we hope to raise awareness and provide fun and entertainment in a organized way that promotes a sense of achievement and pride.

Our events are an integral part of Living Heritage Game and Country Shows all around the United Kingdom.

About our Shows

Our field events are structured to incorporate racing and showing events. We run numerous competative championships throughout the year to include, racing championships for Lurchers, both straight racing and simulated coursing, showing championships for Lurchers and Terriers, and a Child Handling championship.
