LurcherWorld

We are a small team of dedicated people who are passionate about Lurcher's and Terrier's. Our aim is to promote the well being of working dogs.

Our shows, which take place exclusively at Living Heritage events, offer a chance to socialise with like minded people and partake in organised showing and racing competitions.

Each show day, we award a Champion Lurcher and Terrier who qualify for our finals at the end of the year. Special classes are scheduled for Child Handling which also has it's own championship.

For 2008 we have introduced a new super league racing competition for Lurcher racing. Whether simulated coursing or straight racing the challenge is open to anyone who owns a Lurcher. Win heats for points throughout the season. Bad days don't count, good days do. A fairer system that takes into account for your Lurcher's overall condition throughout the year as apposed to the one day final.

Not to leave those Terriers behind , Terrier straight racing and simulated coursing are also on the agenda every show day, with trophies and rosettes to be won.

Don't forget our cheeky "Chase the Bunny" competition held in the main ring twice daily. Open to any dog on the showground new to simulated coursing - this is your chance to win a trophy and entry into the grand final at the end of the year.
